Hybrid format and schedule
This master class runs as a two-day hybrid experience: a day of online manuals, coursework and certifications followed by a full day of hands-on training. The program also includes an internship with four hours of supervised, live practice on post-operative models. Expect structured lessons, practical demonstrations, and evaluative moments that lead to a Certificate of Completion.
Because training includes working with surgical patients, a $250 deposit is required to reserve your seat and initiate a background check. Sessions are scheduled at our Central Harlem studio in New York; early-morning and weekend slots are available to accommodate commuters, performers and students using nearby transit links like the Harlem–125th Street hub.
Core hands-on techniques
The hands-on day focuses on manual lymphatic drainage, facial massage techniques, seroma and incisional drainage approaches, plus specialized body sculpting methods used with post-surgical clients. Instructors demonstrate Colombian and Brazilian machine and tool methods and guide trainees through device-assisted modalities listed in the course materials.
Practical modules cover wood therapy, lipo cavitation, radio frequency and vacuum therapy techniques, plus compression care: Faja 101, taping wrap methods, and post-op safety guidelines. Training emphasizes protocol, client comfort, and when to refer back to a surgeon rather than trying advanced interventions.
Practice, safety, business guidance
Safety and treatment protocols are central: you will learn how to screen clients in a post-surgical context, follow established safety guidelines, and document care. Instructors review consent basics and when supervised practice is required; ongoing mentorship is available after course completion to help translate classroom skill into clinical confidence.
The course also includes business setup, marketing and social media coaching, and a vetted vendors list for machines and supplies. Financing options and phone consultations are available; call 914-427-9395 to discuss enrollment, and plan to bring basic professional linens and identification for your background check on the training day.
