Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Lymphatic Drainage Massage or Detox with Sauna Wrap - 3 Sessions ($125 each).

We typically recommend starting 48–72 hours post-op for many procedures, but timing depends on your surgeon's approval. Our therapists will confirm clearance, adapt pressure and technique for safety, and coordinate with your care plan to support optimal healing.

Sessions combine gentle manual lymphatic massage with a warmed sauna wrap to encourage fluid movement and detoxification. Expect relaxation, mild warmth, and possible temporary fatigue as the body releases retained fluids and toxins, followed by reduced tightness.

Certain conditions such as active infection, deep vein thrombosis, uncontrolled heart disease, or recent radiotherapy may contraindicate treatment. Provide a full medical history; we require physician clearance when necessary and will modify or postpone therapy for safety.

We recommend spacing sessions 2–7 days apart to maintain lymphatic momentum and maximize cumulative effects. Your therapist will personalize the schedule based on your surgical timeline, inflammation level, and response to earlier treatments.

Sauna wraps can increase sweating and circulation but generally do not alter medication absorption. Stay well hydrated and follow medication guidance. Inform your therapist of all medications so we can advise or seek physician input if needed.

Many clients notice decreased swelling and improved mobility after the first session, with progressive benefits across three visits. Individual outcomes vary by surgery type, inflammation, and adherence to post-op instructions provided by your therapist.
