Get answers to common questions about CHIN LIPO CARE Lymphatic Massage - 5 Session Package ($60 each).
We typically begin 48–72 hours after surgery or once your surgeon clears you. Initial sessions are very gentle near incisions; therapists assess healing and adjust techniques. The five-session plan is spaced to steadily reduce swelling and support optimal recovery.
Most clients attend one session per week, completing five sessions over several weeks. Frequency may be adjusted based on individual swelling, healing speed, and your surgeon’s guidance. Therapists coordinate with your care team to optimize timing and outcomes.
Sessions are gentle and typically cause only mild pressure or stretching sensations. Therapists use light, precise techniques to avoid pain; any sharp or increasing discomfort should be reported immediately so the treatment can be modified or paused for safety.
When performed by trained therapists and approved by your surgeon, risks are low. Contraindications include infection, open wounds, active bleeding, or clotting disorders. We screen clients each visit and will delay or modify treatment if any safety concerns arise.
Lymphatic massage helps reduce swelling and encourages tissue settling, improving jawline definition after surgery. It supports but does not permanently reshape tissue—the long-term result depends on surgical technique, healing, and any ongoing maintenance you choose.
Between sessions, follow your surgeon’s instructions: wear recommended compression, stay hydrated, sleep with head elevation, avoid strenuous activity, and perform any taught self‑massage gently. Report increasing pain, fever, or unusual drainage immediately to your surgeon and our team.
