Why pre-op lymphatic care matters
This three-session package plus consultation is designed to prepare your body before surgery by improving tissue condition, supporting circulation, and helping reduce pre-operative inflammation. Multiple sessions let therapists assess how your body responds over time and tailor pressure, areas of focus, and self-care advice based on observed changes and your surgeon’s instructions.
Clients in our reviews report feeling lighter and seeing reduced swelling after repeated lymphatic treatments; those outcomes inform how we plan each visit. In New York’s Central Harlem, many clients book sessions around commuting schedules—early mornings and weekends—to make repeated treatments practical before their surgical date.
What happens during sessions
Each 60-minute session focuses on gentle lymphatic drainage work and tissue preparation techniques appropriate for pre-operative care. Therapists use targeted, low-pressure approaches to encourage fluid movement, evaluate areas of edema, and monitor comfort. Our team consistently hears that clear explanations and an attentive approach are key parts of the experience.
The included consultation reviews your surgical plan, current medications, and any surgeon-provided instructions so we can align massage timing and garment recommendations with your care pathway. Therapists provide practical self-care guidance you can follow between visits to help maintain circulation and manage swelling as you approach surgery.
Scheduling, price, and logistics
This pre-op package is offered as three 60 MINUTES sessions for $375. Because spring months (Mar, Apr, May) are busiest for body-contouring procedures, we recommend booking early when possible. Our Central Harlem location is convenient by subway for clients coming from the Upper West Side, Upper East Side, and nearby neighborhoods.
After sessions many clients report feeling relaxed, less tense, and experiencing reduced fluid retention, though individual responses vary. During the consultation we’ll review any garment recommendations from your surgeon and advise on timing and frequency that best fit your surgical timeline without contradicting medical instructions.
